The Source of Our Clay
Our search for the purest Fuller's Earth (Multani Mitti) led us to the Thar Desert of Rajasthan, a region revered for its potent, mineral-rich clays. Formed over millennia from volcanic ash and ancient seabeds, this remarkable ingredient is a cornerstone of traditional skincare for its balancing and purifying properties.
What makes the clay from this region so special? We believe it's the unique terroir. The extreme desert climate helps concentrate the clay's beneficial minerals over geological time. Unlike many commercial clays, our carefully sourced Fuller's Earth boasts a high content of Montmorillonite, a prized mineral known for its superior ability to absorb excess oil and impurities without over-drying. This potent profile helps clarify the complexion, reduce visible redness, and restore natural balance. Exactly as it has been used across South Asia for generations.
